Vote Counting Scheduled for 3 p.m. Today

Assistant City Clerk Suzanne Mesich tells The Range that the city will count the remaining 8,000 or so votes in this year's city election at 3 p.m. today. She expects it will take several hours to complete the process.

And at that point, we should have a winner in the Ward 4 race between Councilwoman Shirley Scott and GOP challenger Tyler Vogt, who are separated by 1,754 votes.

We're guessing that Vogt will not win the 60 percent of the vote necessary to overcome the gap, but
