Most Saturdays, it wouldn't really be notable that a pop-punk act from Phoenix is on a bill at The Hut, but gosh, it might be worth heading over there to see You Hang Up with former child star Frankie Muniz on drums. Their music is definitely not my thing, but the band's history is mildly interesting, with the group hiring Muniz before actually hearing him play, but insisting that they totally didn't bring him on for the fame bump, and then Muniz and his Twitter-famous-for-something-I-guess girlfriend feuded with former Phoenix New Times editor Martin Cizmar. I couldn't tell you anything else about the show (when they go on, how much the cover is), because the band doesn't apparently merit a mention on The Hut's webpage (however, it seems You Hang Up might be competing for attention with Chilli Willie Groove, percussionist extraordinaire), but it should certainly be interesting on some level.
