Metalachi...Terrible/Brilliant?

Posted By on Tue, May 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM

There's certainly a proud tradition to mariachi music, especially here in Tucson as the Tucson International Mariachi Conference wrapped up last week, so the idea of a band covering metal songs in a pseudo-mariachi style seems sort of wrong initially. On the other hand, keeping some sort of creepy obsessive reverence over any genre contracts the fact that music should generally be fun.

Feel free to decide for yourself with Los Angeles' Metalachi.
