On Saturday, April 30, educational non-profit Tucson Values Teachers will be holding "Teacher Day at UA" across the UA campus.
"Teacher Day" takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to the public. The event includes an educational expo, Tucson business expo, performances, music, vendors and food. The UA poetry center will also be holding the "Young @ Art" Festival which will feature activities and performances celebrating youth writing and art.
All teachers will receive free admission to all UA attractions, including the Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium, the Arizona State Museum, and the Museum of Art.
The Center for Creative Photography, Poetry Center, UA Bookstore, Student Union, and Bio-5 will also be open for visitors at no cost.
