Keith Olbermann covered the stories of sick Arizonans who need organ transplants to survive. Earlier this year, Gov. Jan Brewer and the Arizona Legislature cut roughly $5 million in funding for transplants, which resulted in the loss of an estimated $15 million in federal matching funds.

We'll have more on this story in the next print edition of Tucson Weekly.

I am glad they did. When I read your online link on FB I forwarded the link to Countdown, Maddow and Schultz to see if one of them would pick it up. I never heard from them but we saw the report on Countdown and were thrilled they covered it. I don't know if my email to them sparked the coverage, but whatever enticed them to follow the story, I'm glad it happened.

PLEASE HELP US IN AZ. The Govorment here well it's like having a bad dream . These crazy people that run our State need to be stopped ! There's no balance ! Jan Brewer blames everything on Obama . Check your facts but anything good that happened to this State in the last 2 years has been because of Obama 's policies and then Jan takes credit . What was Az thinking . A bunch of racist old farts that are clueless .
