Free Live Music: An (Unofficial) Tucson Weekly Endorsement

While you can't tell from the nearly useless Main Gate Square events calendar, the Facebook feed for champions of limited edition vinyl/local musicians Fort Lowell Records informs us that Tracy Shedd is performing in Geronimo Plaza on University tonight from 6 to 8 pm. To be brief, Tracy is a great songwriter who recalls the likable female-fronted indie pop of the Softies and Lois, so if you're looking for an excuse to get out of the house tonight, it's hard to beat a free show outside, especially now that the blast furnace that was our summer and early fall seems to have abated.
