Just Plain Dumb / Blogislature Arizona House Passes Birther Bill, Declares All Other Problems Solved

It's a good thing the Arizona House of Representatives solved all the state's problems (debt, immigration, etc.) so quickly. How else could they find time to send Obama back to Kenya innocently require all presidential candidates present a birth certificate if they want to appear on the Arizona ballot?
From the Associated Press:
The Arizona House on Wednesday approved a bill that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state's ballot when he runs for re-election.The House approved the measure on a 31-29 vote, sending it to the Senate.
It would require U.S. presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the constitutional requirements to be president.
Supporters say the bill would help settle a controversy over whether Obama was born in the United States.
Opponents say it's a waste of time that makes Arizona mocked by the rest of the country. Obama has released his Hawaii birth certificate proving he's a "natural-born citizen" qualified to be president.
Tomorrow the House will vote on HB2791, otherwise known as the Get Off My Lawn Act, which would require a gigantic dome to be build over the state to keep everyone out.

This is probably one of the first times that the Arizona legislature has proven itself to be demonstrably more demented than that of the county I live in (Mohave).
Though I suppose it's refreshing to know that the inbred redneck idiots aren't just living around these hyar parts...
I suspect smog rot from being stuck up in Phoenix.
All the members of the lege who voted on this need to just come out and say outright, "We wanna make sure no more n*****s get in the White House and no damn messicans neither!" At this rate Arizona's going to wind up as such a national embarrassment that we won't need to secede, they'll kick us out of the union for being the short bus state.
