Friday Roundtable: Senate President Bob Burns on the State Budget

Posted by Jim Nintzel on Fri, Mar 12, 2010 at 4:55 PM

The state budget is all but done—and it's pretty devastating to every aspect of state government except for the prisons.

We'll have details in next week's print edition, but Senate President Bob Burns defended the budget on the Friday Roundtable on tonight's Arizona Illustrated on KUAT-TV, Channel 6. You can watch it after the jump.

Jim,

Burns is a fascist, and a liar. On top of the Arizona tax cuts, our only ever appointed President, Prince George, implemented huge tax cuts as well at the national level; for the corporations and the "Royals". Following the logic the fascists put forth to distract us, we should now be tripping over jobs and economic prosperity. Clearly we are not, these policies are destroying our society, yet Burns and his cohorts are calling for further tax cuts.

Unless of course, what is going on is that their goals are to destroy the middle class, and our government "of the people" at the same time. Look around. I think it is time we wake up. This is class warfare, and the royals are well on the way to winning.

Arizona is at the leading edge of the crest of the wave that is flushing our American democratic experiment down the toilet.
