Tucson Sentinel Launches

Tucson Citizen alumnus Dylan Smith has launched the Tucson Sentinel, which aims to be a non-profit, online journalism venture.

I must confess that I'm no the only refugee from the Citizen typing away over here.

TucsonSentinel.com's Managing Editor Michael Truelsen manned several posts in the Citizen newsroom over the years, most recently working with me there as Online Content Editor, and prior to that as the editor of the Body Plus section.

C'mon over folks. This was a soft launch for the good ship Sentinel today, but the water's fine.

Yeah, give it a serious try. It's not exactly Ironminds, but then this is the Old Pueblo...and the internet past is the internet past.

So far, Red Star hasn't been banned.
