Sky Bar Open Tonight

Posted by Adam Borowitz on Fri, Nov 13, 2009 at 3:39 PM

The new astronomy-themed Sky Bar (536 N. Fourth Ave.) located right next to Brooklyn Pizza Company will be open for business as of tonight, says owner Tony Vaccaro.

The place has piped in images of deep space and other planetary goodness going on throughout. A planetarium with a full bar? Be still my cosmological heart.

First: open a business on Friday the 13, Second: owners name: Borowitz (borrow?- no money?) and: WITZ means Joke in German. Third: at this recession the prices there are SKY-high. Fourth: stick with your old joint they appreciate you are there. -A greet weekend to everyone- Lazy V.Saloon for over 60 year in Tucson is still the best, even after removing the hitching post. LOL

I had an amazingly rude bartender. She made two (fairly complicated ... well a martini) drinks for me tipped $1 per drink she refused to make me another drink for disrespecting her with my crappy tipping. Weird.
