Politics Election Results (as of midnight)—Kozachik Pulls Ahead

Steve Kozachik has pulled ahead—and Uhlich's lead is down to 573.

With 37772 early ballots counted, and 88 of 89 precincts in, the election results show:

Ward 6

Nina Trasoff: 48.9 percent
Steve Kozachik: 50.8 percent (up by 1,200)

Ward 3

Karin Uhlich: 47.3 percent (leads by 573 votes)
Ben Buehler-Garcia: 46.4 percent
Mary DeCamp: 6. percent

Ward 5
Richard Fimbres: 53.4 percent
Shaun McClusky: 46.4 percent

Prop 200 (Public Safety First)
Yes: 29.7 percent
No: 70.2 percent

Prop 400 (City spending override)
Yes: 49.5 percent
No: 50.5 percent

Prop 401 (TUSD override)
Yes: 41 percent
No: 59 percent

Prop 402 (TUSD override)
Yes: 38.7 percent
No: 61.2 percent

Watch the ballots dropped off at the polls pull the Republicans up even further tomorrow.

Trent, I think you might have been off on Prop 400, but overall, you sure kicked my ass! I'm gonna have to find you some kind of prize, as long as it doesn't get us indicted for gambling on the election. Nice job.
