Political Parties: Where To Howl on Election Night

Posted by on Mon, Nov 2, 2009 at 12:48 PM

If you want to watch the election returns with the political parties, we've got the scoop: The Democrats will be at downtown's Hotel Congress from 7 to 10 p.m. Party chair Jeff Rogers is promising some good chow for a change.

Meanwhile, Republicans will gather at Jonathan's Tucson Cork, 6320 N. Tanque Verde Road, from 4 to 6 p.m. for radio host Jon Justice's Cocktails and Conversations event. They'll move next door to Chuy's, 6310 E. Tanque Verde Road, at 6 p.m. to await election results.

Early ballot results will be coming your way shortly after 8 p.m., if all goes according to schedule, according to Brad Nelson, Pima County's election director.
