This is posted on another local news media's web site -- anybody got any details? Looks like all 3 local TV outlets have made cuts in the past few days. KOLD-TV Channel 13, Tucson's CBS affiliate, laid off five fulltime and six part-time off-air employees, about 7 percent of its staff, this week as part of a series of nationwide cuts by its parent company, Raycom Media. The layoffs come a week after some jobs were eliminated at KVOA, owned by the Evening Post Publishing Company, and the local arm of the Journal Broadcast Group. Journal owns four radio and two television stations in Tucson including the ABC affiliate, KGUN and KMXZ (94.9 MIX-FM).

From Media Watch: "Buckmaster's wife 'is a senior subcontract manager along with 12,000 other people,' " said Peter Michaels... Wow. I didn't know Raytehon had that many subcontract managers. What do the rest of the people out there do?
